A Vision Empowered by Christ

At Church of the Epiphany, we are called to proclaim the Good News of God in Jesus Christ to all people in the Piedmont Triad area. We are actively seeking out and inviting individuals and families who desire a liturgical/sacramental, charismatic and evangelical worship experience and church life.

Our church proclaims God’s Good News through:

  • Preaching
  • Teaching
  • Advertising
  • Special Events
  • Mission Trips

Our goals include:

  • Bearing witness to the power of Pentecost within the local Christian community
  • Establishing a discipleship plan that assists worshippers in their faith and growth
  • Providing a process that empowers all disciples for manifesting spiritual growth in their daily lives
  • Developing programs and opportunities for all members to live out their worship by reaching out to others in the community

Mission Statement

We exist to make the Kingdom of God visible to all people. We operate under the authority given by Jesus Himself when He commissioned His followers. Therefore, our mission is to go into all of the Piedmont Triad area and the surrounding areas, making disciples of all people, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey His commands.

Vision Statement

Our vision has several related components:

  • That all people in the Piedmont Triad area and surrounding areas will hear the Good News of Jesus Christ
  • That all Christians who desire a liturgical/sacramental, evangelical and charismatic church will find a welcoming church home with us
  • That we will be a witness of the power of Pentecost to our brothers and sisters in the historic churches
  • That we will disciple all who participate in worship with us
  • That all who worship with us will grow into a closer personal relationship with Jesus Christ
  • That we lead all members into an understanding of how to manifest their faith and growth as they live out their worship by word and example
  • That all who join with us will seek to advance God’s Kingdom  by reaching out to the least, the lost, and the lonely
